Chris and I made a trout fishing expedition to Lake Taneycomo in September. It had been over a year since my last visit and I now realize that is too long between trips. While it rained most of the time we were there, the fishing was good and the comraderie was great. Chris is almost as good of a trout fisherman as I am and I can't think of anyone better to have on the boat. We boated around a hundred fish over 2 1/2 days. While not a record by Taneycomo standards, it was still an impressive haul. We seemed to be "catching" more often than "fishing".Since most of you have taken the Taneycomo plunge before, I thought I'd tantilize you with some pics from the trip. Most of them are scenic pics from the lake. Keep in mind it rained most of the time and the lake was consistently fogged in throughout the entire day. Pictures 9 &10, while poor quality, made this cut list because of their signifigance to prior trips. Bonus points for everyone who recognizes them. The last picture was the biggest fish of the trip, an 18" brown caught on a sculpin micro-jig on 2lb. test. Don't let my massive body distort the true size of the fish. It sure seemed bigger while trying to land it.
