Default Pickled Pig Cork Contest Voting Thread

This is the voting thread for The Pickled Pig Cork Contest. The pig traveled wide and far during this contest, reaching both coasts. It brushed against BBQ royalty and did things I never even imagined. I appreciate each entry submitted and admire the creativity and effort applied.

Every registered member is eligible to vote one time during the voting period (ends midnight on June 30). Please vote for the picture set (up to 3) that you like the best. You are free to base your vote on your own criteria. I encourage you to review the original contest thread to get more info on each of the pictures. Your vote is anonymous unless you choose to comment in a reply about who you voted for and why you voted.

The winner (the entry receiving the most votes) is going to get a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com. Please take the time to appreciate each entry before casting your vote. Every vote counts.

Thanks! The Mrs. and I stay pretty busy. This has become a hobby of mine (that the wife roll's her eye's at...so that has become another reason to continue taking pics) and I'm taking the piggy where I go often. Tomorrow, I might have some airshow pics taken :-). I have several shots I've not shared yet, but someday I will. Take care!

Jon, Give me some more idea's for sand castles please. It is hotter than hell down here now, but I might be able to swing a few morning sand castles in your honor.

Thanks to everyone that voted! (for me and everyone else) And thank you Paul for putting on the contest as well as hosting this forum and website. I've learned a ton from you guys here.

I'm going to put the gift card to use to add hot water to my competition setup. Amazon.com: Portable Tankless Water Heater: Sports & Outdoors $50 off (via the gift card) will make it were I can't pass it up.

Thanks again.

Congrats Finney! I was gonna say don't spend it all in one place, but its already gone!

I'm not really familiar with that tankless water heater. How are you going to set it up, or do you have any links to some applications?

I just got the shower attatchment for my Coleman and it works pretty good. Had one of the Zodi camp showers and used it for a couple comps but it wasn't an On Demand heater and I sold it.

Thanks Brian,

I cook with a team out of SC as well as on my own and that team has one of these water heaters. They just run the hose to the heater (the heater is mounted on the end of one of the folding tables) and run a short hose to from the heater with a garden hose spayer on it. The heater only comes on when the water is running so you get hot water seconds after squeezing the trigger on the spayer.

But what I'm gonna do is "Y" the hose before the heater (with one side going to the heater of course) and then run hot and cold water lines to a faucet at a sink.
