Default Roasted Garlic

I roasted some garlic today. I placed a little red wine in a an aluminum pan and placed bulbs of garlic with the tops cut off in the pan. I then drizzled some EVOO on all of the garlic. I covered the pan in foil and roasted it in the oven at 275F for about 2 hours.

The third picture below is of roasted garlic spread on Ritz crackers and topped with melted Monterrey Jack cheese and seasoned with a pinch of Dizzy Dust.

Roasted garlic is great. It makes the best garlic butter. They are great to throw on after a cook for an hour or 2 and save them for later. One of my favorite sides is grilled Texas toast with garlic butter and a little shredded cheese on top.

Roasted Garlic rocks and garlic is good for you. The cheese garlic looks awesome. I have spread just the roasted garlic on crackers before.
