The Double Club

Earlier this year we did a BBQ contest in Abilene, KS. We met a wonderful semi-retired couple (Bill and Red from Lake Texahoma, OK) who had a spot at the contest just to spectate. We became fast friends and traded bbq and cooking tips for drinks and access to their air conditioned fifth wheel when needed.

It was fairly hot and the liquid refreshments went down easily. The wonderful drink they plied us with continually throughout the weekend was called a Double Club. Bill picked up the recipe from his country club and generously shared it with us. It tastes like lemonade and is perfect on a hot day.

Ingredients

16 OZ cup
1 Shot Lemon Juice
2 Shots Vodka
1 Pinch Margarita Salt
Sprite
Ice

Directions
Fill a 16 OZ cup or tumbler with ice. Add lemon juice and vodka. Fill the remaining cup space with Sprite. Add a pinch of margarita salt and enjoy!
