OK, I adjusted the mixture a bit for this past weekends contest cause we used in in the whole hog and the pork butts. Heres the recipe and results. 3 C Peach Necture 3 C Water 1 C Butchers Pork 1/4 Plowboys rub 1/4 C Cider Vinegar The Whole Hog place 8th. This meat was dry, but not too dry. Didn't have any flavor and I was not impressed with it. It surprised me that it placed. The Pork Butt placed 37th. I thought this pork was very good and would place higher. Little do I know. Here a pic of the Pork Butt anyway. The presentation will probably look fimilar. ![]() IMG_6668_7.JPG Pork 7 years and pork has always been my downfall. Any advice would be greatly apreciated. | |
