I used it a year ago on some chicken...not my personal favorite but not bad. BBQ Chicken Thighs and White Sauce

I use the recipe from Chris Lilly's book. The FiL loves it, but I haven't tried it at a comp or on a catering...........yet??

I took a cooking class last year with Chris Marks that focused strictly on Chicken. In the class, he used an Alabama White to marinate the pieces in, but when I asked him about using it in competition, he said that he'd never do it. He said that, in the midwest at least, the judges wouldn't know what to do with it. Apparantly, judges around here aren't known for their creative palates.... |
