Is anyone a big fan of Alabama White?
If so, aside from using it as a marinade for poultry or a finishing sauce for seafood, what do you use it for?

Ok... has anyone ever used an Alabama White sauce for anything?
Dipped cooked chicken in it. Not my favorite, but I'd do it again.

I like it when it's home made - the bottled stuff is nasty.

I took a cooking class last year with Chris Marks that focused strictly on Chicken. In the class, he used an Alabama White to marinate the pieces in, but when I asked him about using it in competition, he said that he'd never do it. He said that, in the midwest at least, the judges wouldn't know what to do with it.
Apparantly, judges around here aren't known for their creative palates....![]()
Put it on chicken after cooking it. It was O.K. Nothing really wrong with it, just not my favorite.
