Cider Squirt Baste/Mop
2 c. apple cider
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. bourbon
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. worchestershire sauce
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/2 t. salt
Combine all ingredients is saucepan, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool and place in spray bottle or bowl. Spray or brush on ribs every 30 minutes or pork shoulder every hour. Keeps for 1 or 2 days.
I wouldn't drink it straight but it adds a great flavor to the finished meat.
