Size and Location

Most pages feature a "Sponsor Banner" and a "Bottom Banner". Both banner locations will display clickable banner images that are 728 pixels wide by 90 pixels high (leaderboard size). When a visitor clicks on the banner, a new window will open that takes the visitor to the target site.

• JPG, PNG, GIF (both static and animated) formats are accepted
• File size limited to 80KB
• Animation frame rate is restricted to a frame rate of 15 fps

Content

We reserve the right to exercise discretion regarding the advertising accepted for this site. Therefore, we may not accept advertising related to certain products or services such as, but not limited to, mature sexual themes, nudity and/or sexual activity, crude or indecent language that may be offensive or inappropriate. In the event we reject your ad, you can submit a different ad or have your campaign refunded.

• Banners should not pretend to be a system or site warning.
• Banners should not mimic or resemble system dialog boxes or error messages.
• Banners should not have mock animated features such as drop down menus or search boxes.
• "Trick to click" banners which may confuse the user are not allowed. This includes ads which simulate a cursor arrow moving and clicking on the ad.
• Banners may not imply an affiliation with The Pickled Pig unless authorized permission is granted.
• Banners may not infringe upon the trademarks or intellectual property of others. Please note that the advertiser or authorized agent is responsible for the content of any advertisement submitted. The Pickled Pig prohibits intellectual property infringement by advertisers.

How It Works

The Pickled Pig sells banner ad inventory by the impression, in units of 1,000 impressions (M). Once you purchase a specified number of impressions your banner ad will be placed in a display rotation and will remain there until all of the impressions have been delivered. We only charge for impressions delivered. We do not charge any fees for click throughs. Ads can be placed at anytime and will run until the number of ordered impressions has been delivered. When the campaign has ended, a usage report indicating the impressions delivered and the click throughs received is emailed to the advertiser.
